From engagement rings to one-of-a-kind statement pieces, our design team work closely with clients to craft bespoke designs that reflect their individual style and preferences. With attention to detail and quality craftsmanship, we ensure that each piece is as special and meaningful as the person wearing it.

The Process

Design Ideation

In the design ideation phase, we encourage you to share your ideas, inspirations, and preferences for the custom piece you would like designed.

Design
Consultation

In the design consultation phase, you will have the opportunity to have a detailed discussion with our skilled designers who will carefully listen to your desires and help refine and further develop your design concept.

Through this our designers will be able provide valuable insights, offer suggestions, and propose modifications to ensure the feasibility and aesthetic appeal of the design. 

This collaborative process aims to refine and enhance the original idea.

Design Concept & Model

In the design concept & model phase, our team will utilise computer-aided design (CAD) software to create a digital version of the custom piece you are having designed. 

This allows you to not only visualise and evaluate the design from various angles but view the piece and have an accurate representation of the final design and product. 

To enhance this process, we also provide you the opportunity to have the piece printed into a 3D model, allowing you to see the piece and ensure you are happy with the design before moving forward.

Design Approval Appointment

After the creation of the 3D printed model, we will schedule a design approval appointment. 

During this meeting, you will have the opportunity to examine the physical model, discuss any potential modifications, and provide final approval for the design. 

This stage ensures that the design meets your expectations and allows for any necessary adjustments before proceeding to manufacturing.

Final Design Quote

After the final approval design appointment our team will create a quote which details your design brief, stones used, metal used and sizing as a opportunity for you to approve the design once more and confirm you are happy to proceed with having your piece custom designed with Nowlan Jewellery Co.

At this stage we will require all involved parties to sign off on the quoted amount to proceed with the manufacturing and completion of the piece.

About Our Quotes

  • Quotes are valid for 7 days from the date generated and are subject to change.

  • A 50% deposit will be required on all approved designs and before any model work is commenced.

Manufacturing & Completion

Once the final design is approved, we move into the manufacturing phase. Our fully qualified team of onsite Jeweller’s utilise their expertise to transform the approved design into a tangible jewellery piece. 

We use high-quality materials and employ traditional jewellery-making techniques to bring the design to life. Our team ensures attention to detail and precision throughout the manufacturing process.

Collection of Completed Piece

Upon completion of the jewellery piece, we will contact you to schedule a collection appointment. This meeting allows you to witness the realisation of your vision as you receive the finished, custom-made jewellery piece. Our team will guide you through any necessary care instructions and provide any additional information or services related to the piece.

Payment Plan

When considering our custom design service there is a structured payment process with three steps in place which allow you to split the cost over the design process.

Step One.

Design Consultation Payment

This payment covers the cost of your consultation booking, custom design, 3D model and any adaptations to designs created by our design team.

  • Payable when booking in for a consultation with our design team. 

  • This payment will be deducted off the total cost of the design if you choose to proceed. 

  • An individual fee will be applied to each new piece you wish to have designed.

  • Non-Refundable when consultation is attended. 

  • Refunds will only be provided if you choose to cancel and not rebook. 

Step Two.

Deposit

The deposit amount will be 50% of the quoted amount less the design consultation fee and will be required on all approved designs. 

  • Payable once signed copy of quote has been returned to us either in-person or via email and must be received by our accounts department prior to any work commencing.

  • Once paid there will be a cancellation fee of 50% once the quote has been signed and work has commenced.

Step Three.

Final Payment

This payment will be required on the completion of the piece and must be received prior to collection if paying via bank transfer. Otherwise, payment can received in store on collection.
